Ren Fest Garb - TBD - Cotehardie/Sideless Surcoat

I have royal blue and purple raw silk with which I plan to make cotehardies, similar to the blue gown shown in Simplicity pattern 8725 below, but not as long. I already made a gold/white brocade sideless surcoat and a navy/silver fleur de lis sideless surcoat (but not as long as the red overdress shown in the pattern below).
