Explanation of the Crest (Wappen).

The helmet on top, beneath the lion with a scythe in the green part,
shows that he, together with the knights, drove the Saxons away (banished them).
The three ears of corn at the right mean the great amount of loot which Bierdümpfel carried off.
Johann von Bierdümpfel defended the mountain castle near Cadolzburg in 1695
as a castellan and beat the Saxons.
